Johnny West and Wesco Fabrication
Wesco Fabrication was established by Johnny West in 1984 with the mission of providing high quality machining and fabrication services to the drag racing and high performance motorsports market. Over extensive nitro racing career Johnny West has been a successful car owner, driver, tuner, engineer and crew chief. His racing resume includes hundreds of round wins, numerous event titles and two world championship titles. During his racing career Johnny West developed and engineered numerous race proven components, systems and support tooling that is currently utilized by the majority of Top fuel and Funny Car racers today. Additional systems, components and products were developed jointly by long-time friend and machinist J T Stewart and Johnny West. Numerous jointly developed products were previously offered under the J T Stewart name. At the end of 2013 Wesco Fabrication acquired all of the racing business and products from J T Stewart. WFI has incorporated the JTS operations within the WFI catalog of products and services. Johnny West is currently focused on expanding the parts and services offered by Wesco Fabrication to the Top fuel and Funny Car and nitro classes of drag racing.

Custom Fabrication & Specialty Projects
We are a fully equipped machining and fabrication shop dedicated to all classes of drag racing. We specialize in unique and custom projects necessary complete complex racing vehicles.
Wesco designed and fabricated this billet coupling guard for a Strange center section. This unit is complete with a mount for the drive shaft speed pickup and connects using the studs on the pinion bearing support.
The Arizona Sidewinder - This transverse mounted top fuel dragster does not have a rear end or differential. This prototype Top Fuel car was originally built in the early 70's by J T Stewart. Wesco built this new car to current Nostalgia standards utilizing a number of the original driveline components
